I recently noticed that one of my pilot seat hardpoints was no longer holding properly, allowing the seat to flex a bit (it didn’t really move, but there a perceptible flexing of the base/frame). I had previously put a helicoil in this one, having likely cross-threaded it at some point. Anyway, it was something that I wanted to deal with before I stripped the other 3, so I ground the glass off of the hardpoint, popped it out, cleaned up the floor, and installed a new one. No biggie, but it’s the sort of thing that pops up from time to time.
