It’s been really cold and snowy here, so the painting has been going a bit slowly. We sprayed the winglets with blue on Tuesday, but there a few places were the paint beaded up. I think this might be polishing compound that didn’t get sanded off well enough. In any event, we heated the booth and did a little light sanding, and put another coat on last night. This weekend we’ll try to get clear coat on the wings. That’ll be just about the end of spraying, I’ve got an aileron and some odds and ends left, and then we’ll bring the fuselage back and get moving.
