Here you can see the slip joints that will seal our new runners. You can see that I made downward facing tabs and buried a brass 10×32 anchor in flox behind the inner tab to secure them. The air filter isn’t going to work out, it rubs the wing too hard, so I’m looking at rectangular filters that I will possible attach to the engine mount on this side. It seems that the back side would have good access to the intake, that the front can connect to the runner, and that there should be enough space. We’ll see.
