I’ve just added a new feature for hosting Picture Galleries to the site. I love this because it gives me a visual way to feature, group, and highlight many of the interesting pictures I’ve gathered over the years. Check out, for instance, the Velocity advertising or magazine cover albums. I plan to ad an album for each aircraft that we have pictures in the wiki for. The Albums also make the pictures more search-able, allow for user comments (like to list the people you know in the Velocity BBQ pictures, etc.). I plan to collect all of my building pictures into galleries for the relevant sections (fuselage, wings, gear, etc.).

But, it also gives you guys, the registered users a place to create your own picture gallery of your airplanes or projects. Feel free to create an album and start uploading pictures! If you haven’t registered yet, it’s just another reason to take the plunge.
