Since I like sharing our travels almost as much as going places in the airplane, and based on some other folk’s success, I’m getting another HD camera, the GoPro Hero2. This one will be mounted, using Bob Jackson’s Sky-3D camera mounting system, under the wing. The video below, taken by Darrell Kufalk, used the suction cup mount, but I want to make sure we don’t lose the camera, and Bob has shown some video where the camera gets very blurry based on vibration due to the insecure mounting. I expect now to be able to offer cockpit audio and video, as well as wing based and glare shield detail forward view video. Hopefully it will encourage those building to persevere.
