I’ve just heard that Blue Ash Aviation is leaving the airport, even before they were really there. I can’t say that I’m disappointed, they really seemed to be going out of their way to antagonize the airport community. It was as if we were supposed to consider ourselves lucky to have them. I hope their leaving disabuses them of that notion. It does present me with a problem, however, as they’re taking the Warrior I’d been training in with them. Now I need to decide if I keep flying with Pete and drive to Blue Ash to train (at least until that airport finally closes, and no firm date has been set), or find another trainer airplane. Unfortunately there aren’t many low-wing trainers in town, and I’d rather not switch to a Cessna if I can avoid it. I really think the Warrior is a better fit for getting ready for the Velocity, but I’ll do what I need to…
