Apparently Mohamed and his son were on-board and departing for Airventure in Oshkosh when the engine lost power and they went through trees on the departure end of the runway at Sebastian/the Factory. Luckily both were Ok.
A small plane crashed Saturday morning on the Sebastian Municipal Airport property
The plane crashed on the airport property a little after 9 a.m. Saturday with two people on board, said Commander John Blackledge of the Sebastian Police Department.
The conditions of the pilot and passenger are unknown, but there are no reported injuries, Blackledge said.
The Federal Aviation Administration is being informed of the crash, he said.
