We have decided not to fly to Oshkosh. It’s a disappointment, and I’m nearly certain that we could have flown in without issue. The problem is that I’m not totally certain. The Fox is flying great, but every flight has at least one minor annoyance. One flight the magnetic headings won’t match exactly between the two AHRS. We’re dripping a little oil. It’s minor, and is probably not a problem, but it shouldn’t drip, it’s a new motor. It’s just enough that I would thinking about taking care of the plane rather than thinking about getting into Oshkosh safely, and it’s an unforgiving environment. Perhaps I’m overly conservative, but I’m an engineer, it’s my nature. Maybe we’ll fly in next year, and maybe we’ll have Andy and Mark at our wings. I hope so.    🙂
