Well, my luck with weather had to run out eventually, and it has in a big way. The weather here has been just terrible for the last few weeks. It’s been cold, rainy, and windy pretty much every weekend. I’ve been “ready” for my checkride for nearly 3 weeks, and haven’t been in the plane at all. The stars aligned today, though, and I was able to get out with the chief instructor and got his blessing to move on to schedule with the FAA. Although I’m off next week, they’ll probably be off, and the VOR in the Warrior needs to be worked on before I can take the test anyway. Net, I’m probably still a couple of weeks away from getting my checkride in, but at least I’ve checked all of the boxes. Big Day.
