It was supposed to storm today, and it did sprinkle a bit on us, but we went nearly an hour without issue. It was kind of nice, the overcast and building clouds off to the west were holding the temperature down. Since we expected weather we just stayed in the pattern, and with the weather to our west got a rare north-westerly breeze. We did 9 landings, with all of them being passable, and Pete even commented that he would likely look to solo me on our next flight if I had my medical in order. I don’t, and I won’t for a bit, I have a couple of minor concerns that shouldn’t be an issue, but I’m going to make use of AOPA’s medical service to be sure since you can’t afford to ever be denied. Pete pulled two emergencies on me, one where I would’ve made a field to the south west of the airport, and one were I made it back to the departure runway. I still have a ways to go, but I’m starting to get comfortable with the airplane, which is pretty sweet.
