Another small piece of recognition, our plane has finally graced the pages of Kitplanes for August 2011, in the Completions section. This is a particularly memorable achievement for me personally because Kitplanes was my first exposure to the Velocity and the concept of homebuilt aircraft. I was in college at the time, and a good friend of mine, John Collier, showed me a copy and I fell in love. This was the late 80’s/early 90’s, and I don’t know what issue it was exactly, I know the Velocity was on the cover of the aircraft directory one of those years. As I talk about in my “about Brett” section, at the time I thought it was a crazy idea, but the seed was planted. Flash forward 20 years and my airplane is on their pages, so I’ve come full circle so to speak. Hopefully we’ll bring the Fox to a fly-in near you this year to let you see her in the flesh!

Thanks to the many well-wishers! The following month, Beth’s letter to the editor was also published…
