I flew home from Dallas tonight to some really decent weather, and our guests hadn’t arrived in town yet, so I dropped my bags off at the house and my Sweetie and I went flying. We took off and headed for Dayton, and she flew great. We did a full power climb to 5500′ when we got a low temperature warning on CHT #6. The EGT was fine, and the engine was running well, so I’m pretty sure it’s a bad sensor, but we thought that discretion was the better part and headed back. We flew laps over the airport area for about an hour and then took her in. I’ll try and check the sensor tomorrow before our family arrives in town. Remember that you can check out our flights at aprs.velocityxl.com. I haven’t worked out all of the bugs yet, but it mostly works. We’ll upgrade that page soon to fit the new website style, and finish bringing all of the old blog articles over, as well as the accident section which hasn’t been converted yet.
