My flight test for today was scrubbed and moved to tomorrow, so instead Elizabeth went out and got current in our plane. It was just a few patterns, but it was good practice as she hadn’t flown the Velocity on snow before. The winds were light, and the sun was out, and she looked uber-cool with rooster tails of snow coming off of the wheels and behind the prop. Steering was a little poor since they don’t have a plow at our airport, but it was OK, and so she did a few touch and goes before putting her away. I’ll have to get a little right seat time after my checkride.
