There was a lot going on this weekend. First, I went flying with an instructor for the first time in 9 years (check out the new Flight Training section under Flying), and Elizabeth took her first passenger since the upgrades for a ride down to Clermont County Airport, the home of Sporty’s, since it’s very close to the length of Rough River’s runway. That all went well, but we had a little noise in the intercom, so I spent Sunday trying to figure out why. Our technical counselor Ray came over in his Dragon Fly to see what we could do. It seemed to related to the overhead switch panel, so we pulled it and checked all of the connections. We’ll see if that fixed it, it seemed to. When I got home though, I got an alert that a Velocity had crashed in North Carolina. Apparently Kirk Aragon was killed in the crash of his N360TV. Hour hearts go out to he and his family in this difficult time.
