Our Air Graphics vinyl arrived late yesterday, and we talked Bob Palo of BP Customs (937) 216-0068 into coming up early this morning to help us apply it (ok, just actually do it). And it’s a good thing we got an early start, as it turned out to be an all day affair.
Bob is a real craftsman and made pretty quick work of most of it, but we had a ton of vinyl to get down, one of the biggest jobs Air Graphics has printed. And Bob is very particular about getting everything perfect before pinning it down. In particular the first checker board pattern on the inside of the pilot winglet took awhile to get just so. But it looks awesome, and he was a magician at getting the two sides to match up. Especially given the plane is not totally symmetrical out of the mold, and our painting was not perfect side-to-side either. Check out the picture gallery to see more (and better) pictures from Linda’s camera, or check out the building page dedicated to the task here.
