We beat the storms tonight to do some more precision airplane work, mostly soft field take-offs and short field landings. We did a couple at Warren County, including a failed engine on take-off simulation, then headed over to Middletown. MWO was buzzing with activity, and we did a couple of short field landings there before heading to MGY. I still love that airport, a gorgeous runway with awesome lighting. A few more short field landings and a soft field take-off, then some S turns and turns about a point of the way back home, with another simulated emergency and a couple more short field landings. Next, over the weekend, I think we’ll get in some of my hood time, and maybe some night work.
